Andrea Schaffer
Epidemiologist
Andrea Schaffer is an epidemiologist primarily working on OpenSAFELY. Prior to coming to the University of Oxford in 2022, she was at the University of New South Wales where her research focussed on using routinely collected data to understand how medicines are used in the population, with a particular interest in evaluating the impact of health interventions on medicine use and health outcomes. She has expertise in interrupted time series analysis, and has an MSc in Epidemiology from McGill University, an MBiostat in Biostatistics from the University of Sydney and a PhD from the University of New South Wales.
